Wow, I couldn’t agree more! Great post. I think further to what you are saying, people are really starting to do some internal digging, to see if their career is actually an authentic ‘fit’. It’s pretty hard to face each morning when we struggle with our ‘next stop’, the job. I came across a saying recently that shocked me into a career change. It said ‘The definition you’ve placed on yourself – or have allowed others to place on you – is precisely why you have what you have, do what you do, are what you are and act how you act’. I agree with you, our habits our changing, we are more aware and conscientious than ever before, and we are either going to ‘innovate’ change in the direction of win-win, or the entire system will crumble. A friend of ours in Meridian heard that Costco will build a store on Overland in Meridian. Just wondering if this is true? My husband works for Costco in St. George Utah but we would like to relocate back to the Boise area.
